You will see from our Spring 2026 Beyond the Silence magazine, and our previous journal post ‘Raising Men’s Health Profile for Policy Makers’, that We Are Survivors are working with Movember to change the face of men’s health in distributing a public survey.
The ‘See #Me(Too): A Survey About Male Victims/Survivors’ is a public survey open to all UK adults aged 18+, asking respondents about the prevalence, understanding of, and attitudes towards male victims/survivors of sexual harms.
So far, we have had 1103 respondents to the survey! Click here to complete it yourself
At this stage in the project, we are focusing our efforts on sharing the survey as far and wide as we can over our socials. Our own Ambassador, researcher, and drag artiste Dr Michael Atkins (Cheddar Gorgeous) has already given us a helpful “do us a favour” shoutout for the survey.
With Movember’s support in sharing this survey with their own wide audience, we are reaching out to people who may not have otherwise considered male sexual harms as part of the wider growing conversation on men’s health.
The information and data we gather from this survey will be useful for us in our strategy to increase public awareness and understanding of male sexual harms. It will also be incorporated into consultation responses, calls for evidence responses, and other positions we take up to directly influence policymakers that are responsible for Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) legislation.
We hope you will take a few minutes to fill out our survey and help us work towards a society where no male survivor is left behind.
