Duncan’s Awarded Attitude

We are so proud that last week our Founder and CEO, Duncan Craig, attended an event in London for the Attitude Magazine Pride Awards in which he was presented with the Attitude Pride Award for Work with Male Rape survivors.

The star studded event was hosted by Hollywood actor, Alan Cummings, and an array of celebs, politicians and change makers all celebrating the inaugural Attitude Pride Awards and the eleven recipients who also graced the front cover of the 21st Birthday edition.

Other recipients were:

  • Jonathan Blake, an original member of the Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners (LGSM)
  • Asifa Lahore, a Muslim Drag Queen who is using her platform to drive for LGBT+ activism
  • George Montague, “the oldest gay in the village” and campaigner for a formal government apology for the treatment of gay men during the fight for the decriminalisation of homosexuality
  • Christian Webb, for his work on LGBT+ awareness in schools
  • Matthew Naz Mahmood-Ogston for his work in building bridges between LGBT+ and religious communities
  • Emmanuel Okoghenu for his work as a AKT Ambassador
  • Alya Holdom, an RAF Search and Rescue Pilot and Trans Rights Campaigner
  • Moud Goba, UK Lesbian and Gay Immigration Group
  • Jonny Benjamin, Mental Health Campaigner and Advocate
  • Toni Hogg, Antidote specialist LGBT+ Drug Service
  • Mena Houghton, mother of Mark Houghton who fights against homophobia
